Bank of Baroda has released a recruitment notification for the post of Specialist Officer (Sale, Finance/ Credit, Head, IT Security, Treasury – Dealers/ Traders, Treasury -Relationship Managers, Treasury – Product Sales, Trade Finance, Security) vacancies on contractual basis.

Educational Qualification: 

Posts: Head – Credit Risk (Corporate, Retail) & Head – Enterprise & Operational Risk Management

The candidate must be minimum graduate from a recognized university. Over and above the said qualification, the candidate must possess minimum one of the following qualifications, as well:

  1. FRM from GARP
  2. PRM from PRMIA
  3. Post Graduate in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Economics from a reputed Institute/ Govt. Recognized Institute.
  4. *2 years Full Time, MBA or PG Diploma, with specialization in Banking and Finance

Post: IT Security

Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Engineering Graduate and minimum One year Diploma in IT/ Computer Science from recognized university/ Institute/ Post Graduate in Science/ Computer Science

Post: Treasury – Dealers/ Traders

Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute from a recognized university.

Post: Treasury – Relationship Managers (Forex/Derivatives)

*2 years Full time, M.B.A or equivalent, with specialization in Marketing and Sales from a premier institution.

Post: Treasury – Product Sales

*2 years Full time, M.B.A or equivalent, with specialization in Marketing, preferably from a premier institution.

CA or ICWA or *2 Years Full Time, MBA or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma, with specialisation in Finance. (Courses completed through correspondence / part-time are not eligible. The institute should be recognized / approved by Govt., Govt. bodies / AICTE).

Post: Trade Finance

CA or *2 Years Full Time, MBA or equivalent post-graduation degree/diploma, with specialisation in Finance/Trade Finance/ International Business. (Courses completed through correspondence / part time are not eligible. The institute should be recognized / approved by Govt., Govt. bodies / AICTE)

Post: Security

Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute

Post: Sales

*2 Years Full Time, MBA or equivalent postgraduation degree/diploma, with specialisation in Marketing/Sales/Retail. (Courses completed through correspondence / part-time are not eligible. The institute should be recognized / approved by Govt., Govt. bodies / AICTE)

Post Qualification Experience:

Head – Credit Risk (Corporate Credit): Minimum 10 years of experience of working in Credit Domain in a banking / financial institution out of which minimum 5 years in development and maintenance of corporate credit risk model and related analytics

Head – Credit Risk (Retail Credit): Minimum 10 years of experience of working in Credit Domain in a banking / financial institution out of which minimum 5 years in development and maintenance of Retail credit risk model and related analytics.

Head – Enterprise & Operational Risk Management: Minimum 10 years of experience of working in a commercial Bank out of which minimum 4 years in operational risk / enterprise risk domain

IT Security: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in IT/IT Security domain, out of which minimum 3 years post CISA/CISSP/CISM certification experience in managing information security in Large Corporate/Company/Govt. Organization/Govt. Dept. (Experience of working in Banking/Financial Services will be preferable).

Treasury Dealers/ Traders: Minimum 3 years Post-qualification experience of Trading in Forex and Debt Markets in Banks/Mutual Fund / Investment Banking. Experience in Treasury function of Bank will be preferable.

Treasury Relationship Manager: Minimum 2 years of Post-qualification experience as Relationship Manager for Treasury functions/Treasury product Sales

Treasury – Product Sales: Minimum 2 years of Post-qualification experience in Treasury functions of Banks/Mutual Funds/ Investment Banking. Experience in Treasury function of Bank will be preferable

Finance / Credit-III: Post-qualification experience of minimum 4 years in Processing/Appraisal of Corporate Credit (Experience of working in Credit Deptt. in large Banks will be preferable). For candidates with CA qualification, the Post-qualification experience shall be relaxed to 3 years.

Finance / Credit-II: Post-qualification experience of minimum 2 years in Processing/Appraisal of Corporate Credit (Experience of working in Credit Deptt. in large Banks will be preferable)

Trade Finance: Post-qualification experience of minimum 2 years in Credit & Forex / Trade Finance function in Banking/ Financial Sector (Experience of working in trade finance function including exports / imports / foreign remittances / LC / BG areas in large Banks/Financial Institutions will be preferable)

Security: an Officer not below the rank of Asst SP/Dy SP/ Asst Comdt/ Dy Comdt of Indian Police / Para Military Forces, with a minimum of 5 years service as an officer in such Force

Sales: 1 Year of Sales experience in Banks/FMCG/NBFC/DSA with selling experience of Banking products of any Bank/NBFC.

Selection Process: 

Candidates will be selected based on Group Discussion (GD) /Personal Interview/Psychometric Test.
