The eligible applicant shall be issued a call letter to appear for the following test. The date and place of the recruitment test will be indicated in call letters. Candidates will have to undergo the following tests.
(i) Physical Measurement: Candidates will be screened first for Height, Chest (Men), BMI. Candidates will be screened first for Height and Weight for Women.
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates who satisfy the above conditions of Physical measurement will be admitted for the Physical Efficiency Test.
For Male candidates

*Ex-servicemen will be not required to pass physical efficiency test. They will be eligible to appear for the written test if they possess the minimum physical measurements and pass the medical examination.
For Female candidate

Stage-III | High Jump | 0.9mts |
III) Written Test: (200 Marks)
(i) All candidates who qualify in the Physical standards and Physical Efficiency tests shall undergo a Written Test. The questions will be in objective type and will be generally of +2 standard. The question paper will be in two parts each of two hours duration.
(ii) The written test will be in English and Regional languages (i.e) for a candidate from Puducherry and Karaikal in Tamil, for Mahe in Malayalam and for Yanam in Telugu. The Questions for General English shall be only in the English Language.
IV) MEDICAL TEST: The candidates selected in the Written Test shall be subjected for medical examination to access their medical fitness as per the medical standards prescribed through the Standing Order issued by the Government.
Note: (1) All the above events are compulsory.
(2) Each stage of physical efficiency Test is a Qualifying stage by itself for the next stage i.e. only the candidates who qualify in the stage-I of physical Efficiency test will be eligible for the stage-II and so on
