Documents Required to Apply for IBPS RRB Exam Thumb Impression & Hand-written Declaration Form Mandatory

A candidate may apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) as well as for Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Candidates have to apply and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post.

STEP 1: Pre-Requisites for Applying Online Before applying online, candidates should—

(i) Before starting your application process, scan the following documents as it is required to upload these documents during the application process.

Passport size Photograph (200 x 230 pixels, 20-50 KB):

1) A photograph must be a recent passport style color picture.

2) Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.

3) Photo with Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

Signature of the candidate (140 x 60 pixels, 10-20 KB):

1) The applicant must sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

2) The signature, left thumb impression, and the hand-written declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.

3) If the Applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet or Call letter, signed at the time of the examination, does not match the signature uploaded, the applicant will be disqualified.

Left thumb impression (140 x 60 pixels, 10-20 KB)

1) The applicant has to put his/her left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

2) The signature, left thumb impression, and the hand-written declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.

Handwritten declaration (20-50 KB):

1) The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

2) The applicant has to write the declaration in English (only) clearly on a white paper with black ink.

3) Signature / Handwritten declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.

4) The above-mentioned hand-written declaration has to be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.
