IBPS Clerk Allowances 2021-22

Dearness Allowance: In bank job, DA is revised quarterly and is based on CPI as declared by the banks i.e. DA can go up with higher CPI and vice versa.

House Rent Allowance: This varies according to bank clerk’s place of job. And it can be 8.50%, 7.50% and 6.50% of the salary depending upon metros, big cities and other locations.

Medical Allowance: This allowance is paid annually and for an IBPS clerk, it is fixed at Rs 2000.

After the 10th Bipartite Wage Settlement of 2015, a bank clerk is entitled to get a salary of Rs 21,990 with in-hand salary of Rs 19,461.

Promotion for an IBPS Clerk 2021-22

IBPS Clerk works for a period of six months under the probation period.

After writing the Promotional Exams with successful results, he will get promoted as a Trainee officer Cadre.

After the two years time period, they get a chance to work as an Officer in the bank that changes their job profile with an increase in the salary.
