IBPS Clerk Recruitment Official Notification Apply Now

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the Most expected Recruitment Notification for the Post of Clerical Cadre vacancies in Participating Banks.

A total of 12072 Clerk Vacancies are to be filled by this Recruitment which is tentatively scheduled in December 2019 & January 2020.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to read the notification carefully and apply online on or before 09.10.2019.

Candidates can apply from 17 September 2019.

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1991 and not later than 01.09.1999 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications – IBPS Clerk Recruitment

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate that he/she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute

Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT: Candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil exam qualifications should be matriculate Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on 10th October 2018. Such certificates should be dated on or before 10th October 2018.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Exam

Note: Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting & final merit list.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination.

Cut-off Score (Online Main Exam)

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Exam and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on number of the State/UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided, and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.

Application Fee – IBPS Clerk Recruitment

Application Fees/Intimation Charges Payable from 18th September 2018 to 10th October 2018 (Online payment), both dates inclusive, shall be as follows.

Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates

Rs.600 /- for all others

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate

Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only.
