Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP): Rs.19900/- Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Technicians: Rs. 19900/- Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Last Date for Submission of Application Fee through Online/Challan: will be announced
Last Date for Submission of Fee through Post Office: will be announced
Tentative Date First Stage Common Computer Based Test (CBT) Exam: will be announced
Candidates should possess Degree OR Diploma in Relevant Engineering Discipline OR HSC (10+2) with Physics and Maths OR 10th Class Passed with ITI in relevant Trades.

Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification SHOULD NOT apply.
Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 30 years.
The board increased the age Limit of the RRB ALP Recruitment, Official Notification available here) on 01.07.2018. The lower and upper age limit is common for all the notified posts and the same shall be reckoned as on 01.07.2018.

Upper age limit: For UR candidates will be: 02.07.1990, the same for OBC-Non-creamy layer will be: 02.07.1987 and for SC/ST will be: 02.07.1985
UR/OBC Male Candidates must pay Rs. 500/-
Rs.250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class through Internet Banking or debit/credit cards or can be paid through challan in any branch of SBI or Computerized Post Office Pay-in-Slip.
Interested Candidates may apply Online through the appropriate Zonal websites on or before the last date.
The selection will be completed in four stages, in which First stage CBT and Second Stage CBT are common for both ALP and Technician posts. Candidates who have opted for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT have to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT). Document verification will be the final stage for both ALP and Technician posts.
