The Indian Space Research Organization’s ‘ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB)’ has announced the ISRO Official Recruitment Notification for 526 vacancies in Level 4 of Pay Matrix at constituent ISRO centres and in its autonomous bodies for the following positions:

ISRO Official Recruitment 2022–2023: Age Limit
The age limit for candidates interested in appearing for the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023 is 28 years (as on 09 January 2023).
The age limit for OBC candidates would be 31 years and the age limit for SC/ST candidates would be 33 years (wherever posts are reserved).
Serving government employees, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Meritorious Sportspersons, Widows, Divorced Women and Women Judicially Separated From Their Husbands and who are not remarried are eligible for age relaxation as per the Indian Government orders.

The 526 ISRO Vacancies for the recruitment of Assistants, Junior Personal Assistants, Upper Division Clerks, Stenographers, Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space, and Personal Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space by the ISRO Central Recruitment Board (ICRB) announced on 20 December 2022 will be filled through a competitive examination.
The selection process involves two stages:
The first phase of the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023 is the written test and it will be conducted at eleven venues across India, i.e. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) reserves the right to cancel/change the venue of the written test and re-allot the candidates to any other test centers.
The call letters for the written test for ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023 will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of the candidates.
The official answer keys for the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination Written Test will be published on the official website of the Indian Space Research Organisation within three working days of the written test.
Candidates who attended the written test may raise objections with valid justifications, if any, within five days of publishing the official answer keys on the official website of the Indian Space Research Organization only through the official link that shall be provided after the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination Written Test. Objections, if any, received thereafter or through any other modes to the Indian Space Research Organization will not be considered under any circumstances.
This written test for the recruitment of Assistants, Upper Division Clerks (UDC) and Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions Under the Department of Space would be a single Objective Type Exam. The duration of this written test would be 120 minutes (with compensation time as applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates).

This written test conducted for the recruitment of Junior Personal Assistants, Stenographers and Personal Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space would be a single objective type exam. The duration of this written test would be 120 minutes (with compensation time as applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Candidates). The qualifying marks in this written test would be:
Skill Test for Assistants, Upper Division Clerks, and Assistants
Based on the performance in the Written Test of the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023, candidates will be shortlisted for the next level of the examination, i.e. skill test. Candidates will be selected in a ratio of 1:5 (maximum) to the category-wise number of ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022—2023 Vacancies, with a minimum of 10 candidates.
For reserved vacancies, distinct/additional candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum), without regard to the reserved candidates (if any, shortlisted under the Unreserved category).
Passing Criterion:
If in any case, sufficient number of candidates for empanelment (select list and wait list) do not qualify in the second phase of the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023, i.e. the skill test, then additional candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test, in the ratio of 1:5 to the extent of such short-fall during the skill test.
Skill Test for Junior Personal Assistants, Stenographers and Personal Assistants
Based on the performance in the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023 Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for the second phase, i.e. Skill Test, in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum) to the category-wise number of vacancies, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates.
For reserved vacancies, distinct/additional candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum), without regard to the reserved candidates if any, shortlisted under the Unreserved category.
The Skill Test for Junior Personal Assistants, Stenographers and Personal Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space will comprise of:

If a sufficient number of candidates for empanelment (select list and wait list) do not qualify in the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination Skill Test, then additional candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test, in the ratio of 1:5 to the extent of such short-fall.
The application fee for the ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022–2023 is ₹ 100 (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application. Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Stenographers, Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space and Personal Assistants for Filling-up at Autonomous Institutions under the Department of Space have to separately remit an application fee of ₹ 100.
Candidates may make the payment by ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card or by ‘offline’ by visiting the nearest State Bank of India (SBI) Branch.
Candidates, after submitting their ISRO Official Recruitment Examination 2022-2023 Application using online mode can pay their application fee immediately or any day before the last date for fee payment, i.e. 18th January 2023.
