To apply for SSC CGL online, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in/.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply” tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the “CGL” tab and select the “Online Application” link.
Step 4: Read the instructions and guidelines carefully before proceeding with the application process.
Step 5: Click on the “New Registration” button and provide your basic details such as name, email ID, phone number, and date of birth to register yourself.
Step 6: Once registered, log in using your credentials.
Step 7: Fill in all the required details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and work experience.
Step 8: Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as per the prescribed format and dimensions and pay the application fee
Step 9: Review all the details and submit
Step 10: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
The selection of the candidates will be made based on Computer-Based Examination. This Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers.
Marks scored by candidates in the Computer-Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized using the formula published by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07 February 2019 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
