A freshly hired employee begins their probationary period precisely one year after joining the company. Depending on how well the candidate performs, the time frame may be extended by up to two years.
Candidates must have served in LIC for a minimum of four years, including their probationary period.
Rural areas are where the LIC has the most branches. Therefore, after being hired, the candidates are assigned to live outside of their homes in rural areas for at least three years.
A candidate after appointment as Assistant Administrative Officer shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining. This period may be extended up to two years.
