The official website for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) does not have a separate login page for general browsing.
However, there is an online application portal where you can log in to apply for exams, download hall tickets, and manage your one-time registration. To access this portal, follow these steps:
- Visit the TNPSC website: [https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/]
- Click on “Online Application Services” in the top menu.
- This will take you to a page with various options like “Apply Online,” “Hall Ticket Download,” and “One Time Registration.”
- Depending on your purpose, choose the relevant option. Each option will likely have a login section where you can enter your User ID (Enrollment Number) and password.
If you haven’t registered for one-time registration yet, you’ll need to do that first before applying for exams or downloading hall tickets.
Steps to Recover TNPSC Login ID and Password
Follow the steps below to recover your TNPSC login ID and password through email.
Step One: Visit the official website for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Exams
Step Two: You will find different options/ buttons on the right-hand side panel. Click on the second option/ button from the top that says “One Time Registration & Dashboard”.
Step Three: Now, on the page, where you have been redirected, you will see two options. Click on the one that says “Registered User – Forgot Login ID? Forgot Password?”
Step Four: Now, select the option based on what you are willing to recover. Is it the TNPSC one-time registration login or the password? Select the option accurately, as it is the most important step that will guide you further in the recovery process.
Step Five: In case you have forgotten the login ID, then on the next page, you have to provide the following details:
- Select your identification – Community Certificate No or SSLC Certificate Number, or SSLC Register Number.
- Next, enter the details from the above-chosen option.
- Enter your official date of birth by choosing from the date, month, and year options.
- Next, choose the option through which you are willing to complete the recovery process – via registered email or through a registered mobile number.
Resetting login ID through registered email ID/ registered mobile number
In order to change the existing Login ID that you have forgotten, simply enter a new Login ID and enter the captcha as required.

Under the ‘Registered User’ option, click on the “Forgot Password” button. Immediately, you will be redirected to a page where you have to enter your Login ID and date of birth and choose the option for receiving the reset link.
Next, TNPSC will send you the reset link via email/SMS.
However, when resetting your password, ensure that it encompasses a combination of digits, a special character, one lowercase, and one uppercase. The minimum password length is 8, and the maximum password length is 15.
