The RRB ALP selection process comprises four steps.

The RRB ALP CBT Stage two examination is further divided into two parts – Part A and Part B.
Part A comprises questions from Reasoning, Mathematics, Basic, Basic Science & Engineering, and general awareness of current affairs. You need to attend 100 questions in total within 90 minutes. And, for every negative answer, there is a negative marking.
Part B consists of questions from similar trade. You need to answer 75 questions within 60 minutes and there’s a negative marking for wrong answers.

This third round of examination is crucial and mandatory for all individuals appearing for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. It is a computer-based aptitude test round.
