The RRB ALP selection process comprises four steps.
Step One: RRB ALP CBT Stage One

The RRB ALP CBT Stage two examination is further divided into two parts – Part A and Part B.
Part A comprises questions from Reasoning, Mathematics, Basic, Basic Science & Engineering, and general awareness of current affairs. You need to attend 100 questions in total within 90 minutes. And, for every negative answer, there is a negative marking.
Part B consists of questions from similar trade. You need to answer 75 questions within 60 minutes and there’s a negative marking for wrong answers.

This third round of examination is crucial and mandatory for all individuals appearing for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. It is a computer-based aptitude test round. Thus, candidates must know how to use the computer and achieve a minimum passing mark of 42. In this round, there is no negative round; however, there is no relaxation on the stated minimum marks requirement.
If you successfully qualify on all the stages mentioned above, then you will be asked for document verification next. This is the final stage.
