The syllabus is an important element of preparation since knowing what topics to study and prepare for increases the chances of being selected for the RRB NTPC. CBT-1 and CBT-2, both have similar syllabus and candidates have to prepare similar topics for both the RRB NTPC Exams. Since the topics are similar but the level of questions asked varies, it is crucial to prepare RRB NTPC Study Plan accordingly.
Math – Number system, elementary algebra, decimals, fractions, LCM & HCF, ratio & proportions, mensuration, time & work, simple and compound interest, profit & loss, time & distance, geometry, percentage & trigonometry and elementary statistics.
General Intelligence & Reasoning – Decision making, number series, coding-decoding, analogy, order and rank, alphabet & figure series, blood relation, odd pair, odd one out, logical arrangement of words, distance & direction, mathematical operations, puzzles, statement & conclusions and interpretation of graphs.
General Awareness – Current affairs, history, geography, biology, polity, Indian economy, chemistry, physics, books & authors, important dates, important world organizations, computer knowledge, environmental issues, art & culture, Indian literature, freedom struggle of India, government schemes and static GK.
