Scheme of Selection: SBI SO Recruitment

SBI SO selection process is based on a clearing Prelims Test (according to the cutoff set by the bank), Mains Test followed by Group Discussion and Interview. In case the number of applicants are less, Bank reserves the right to complete the selection through shortlisting and interview instead of through test and interview. * Tests other than Professional Knowledge (PK) test are qualifying in nature and marks thereon will not be reckoned for arriving at merit list.

(b) for RISK ANALYST & COMPANY SECRETARY

The test will be online objective test and the test pattern will be same as in the case of Economist. There will not be Descriptive Test for these post.

Qualifying Marks: SBI SO Recruitment

Objective Test

The minimum qualifying marks in the Tests other than PK test will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the participating candidates (mean marks) in each test.

Qualifying marks in the PK test will be as decided by the Bank.

Descriptive Test

The qualifying marks in the Descriptive test is as decided by the Bank

Test Merit List

The merit list of qualified candidates in the Test will be based on the combined marks scored in the Professional knowledge test and the Descriptive Test in respect of ECONOMISTS.

The merit list of qualified candidates in the test in respect of RISK ANALYST & COMPANY SECRETARY will be based on the marks of professional knowledge test only.

Interview Process: SBI SO Recruitment

The aggregate marks of the candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test (only for Economist) will be arranged in descending order. 

Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the Bank.

The interview process is held separately for different posts filled through SBI SO Recruitment. In this phase the most important thing is your personality. 

The interviewer checks for your communication skills, expression, intellectual and your way of responding.
