All candidates who pass Paper II of SSC 2022 will be medically evaluated by the CAPFs’ Medical Officer or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon of Grade 1 of any central/state govt. hospital or dispensary. Candidates who are declared unsuitable for the post will be notified, and they will have 15 days to file an appeal with the Review Medical Board. The Review Medical Board’s decision is final.
Criteria for the Medical Examination:
- Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
- Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
- (Eye standards without visual correction of any kind)
- Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes
