SSC JE – How to Prepare for General Awareness Section?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the official notification on 12th August 2022 for the open competitive examination for Junior Engineers recruitment(JE). The qualified candidates are hired as Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) by ministries/departments/organizations in the Government of India.

The Selection Process of the SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment will be consisting of a Common Written Examination followed by an Interview. The Exam Pattern details are provided below.

Phase 1: Written Test (500 marks) 

Phase 2: Interview (100 marks)

SSC JE 2022 Exam Pattern Details (Paper 1)

The Paper 1 in SSC JE 2022 Exam includes technical and non-technical sections. The mode of examination is online, and the duration for Paper 1 is two hours. The candidates need to answer the MCQ questions in the computer-based examination (CBE). The candidate will get one mark for every right answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The following is a detailed overview of the pattern of SSC JE Paper 1.
