Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed Junior Engineer (SSC JE) Computer Based Test Examination (Tier 1) due to COVID-19.Â
The Commission which was expected to conduct the Junior Engineer Phase 1 Examination on the scheduled date (on March 30 to April 02, 2020) has backed the decision and postponed to the outbreak of COVID-19Â Lockdown Situation in India.
The new exam dates and admit card release dates will be announced shortly by the officials.
Earlier the admit card for Eastern region had been released on March 17, 2020. However, the authorities will release the new admit card soon after the declaration of fresh dates.
We predict the new SSC JE Tier 1 Exam date will be announced soon during the 2nd week of June 2020 and admit card will be released few days before the exam.
Staff Selection Commission finally released the SSC Junior Engineer Phase 1 Exam Admit Card on the SSC official website.

SSC JE Phase 1 Examination will be conducted in 115 cities across India. There are 9 regions and admit cards for each region can be obtained by visiting the official regional websites or by clicking the appropriate links provided below.Â
Candidates can follow the procedure below to download the SSC JE Tier 1 Exam admit cards by using their registration ID and password.Â
All successfully registered candidates can download their admit card by following are the step mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC: ssc.nic.in and click on the button “Admit Card“.
Step 2: Now visit the official regional website by clicking the applied Region
Step 3: Now click on the link ‘SSC JE Tier 1 / Tier 2 Exam Admit Card’
Step 4: Enter the required credentials i.e. registration ID and date of birth/password and click submit
Step 5: SSC Junior Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical, etc) Admit Card for Tier 1 / Tier 2 will appear on the screen. Check the details, download and take a few print outs for future reference.

After downloading the admit card, candidates must ensure to check the details it contains. Make sure all of them are true and correct. Any discrepancy can lead to cancellation of candidature. The admit card along with a valid ID proof must be carried to the exam hall. Staff Selection Commission will not issue any hard copy of the admit card.Â
