SSC (Staff Selection Commission) recently released the results of the SSC MTS 2019 – Tier I Candidates list who have qualified for the Tier II Examination.
The Phase 1 Examination to recruit various Multi-tasking Staff vacancies in Central Govt Organizations was conducted from 2nd August 2019 to 22nd August 2019.
But today SSC surprised the candidates by releasing the updated list of qualified candidates of the SSC MTS Tier 1 Examination. 9551 New candidates have been added to the old list and mentioned qualified to appear for the SSC MTS Paper 2 Exam.
Multi-Tasking Staff or MTS Recruitment is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for junior staff posts in various central government departments. The Computer Based Test for recruitment of non-technical Multi-Tasking Staff was organized across the country.
The candidates who have qualified in the SSC MTS 2019 Paper – I will now have to appear for the SSC MTS Tier II Exam 2019.

As stated on the Official Notification,
Declaration of list of 9551 additional candidates qualifying in Paper-1 to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper) – reg.
Result of Paper-1 of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2019 was declared by the Commission on 05-11-2019 wherein 1,11,162 candidates were qualified to appear in Paper-II of the examination.
Following discrepancies have been observed in the result of Paper-I of the said examination:
Ex-servicemen candidates eligible for reservation were not considered for selection under ex-servicemen category.
EWS candidates qualifying at the UR standards have been selected in EWS category whereas they were eligible for selection in UR category.
Therefore, corrective action has been taken and it is observed that 9551 additional candidates are eligible for appearing in the Paper-II of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2019 scheduled on 24-11-2019.
SSC MTS Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of categorization of the post as Group – C and in view of job requirements.
The final selection of candidates will be made based on their performance in SSC MTS Paper – I Examination. Therefore, the marks of Paper-I of the candidates will be uploaded after the declaration of the final result.
However, marks scored by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more than one candidate score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.
