3 years and above relevant experience in Delivery Channel administration in a bank / financial institution.
Experience with ATMs, POS, Mobile Banking and Internet Banking is highly desirable.
Role of Assistant General Manager (Alternative Delivery Channel):
- Look after the Marketing and Promotion activities related to Alternative Delivery Channel products such as Debit cards, Credit cards, prepaid cards and Internet Banking, Mobile Banking etc.,
- Participate in developing a strategy and plan for the effective administration of the existing alternative delivery channels to maintain operational excellence and service delivery.
- Maintain Delivery Channel performance metrics based on overall Bank objectives demonstrating Delivery Channels’ contribution to the achievement of desired business outcomes.
- Monitor, administer, and enhance the Bank’s delivery channel infrastructure to improve critical business drivers, minimize costs, increase retail bank market share and maximize uptime and security.
- Gather market intelligence and product understanding.
- Developing and rolling out of new products in accordance with banks procedure.
- Analyse the impact of channel cost for each product and customer segment.
- Conduct research to attract new to bank customers and retain existing customers.
- Develops profitability models for each delivery channel and preparation of periodic profit and loss estimates.
- Ensure security and compliance requirements are built in every delivery channel in liaison with Information Security and Information Technology Department.
- Ensure the activities of the various channels abide by the bank’s overall service quality standards.
- Oversee all ongoing projects to ensure effective implementation in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Campaigns and awareness programme should have conducted at regular intervals.
Cadre Pay and allowances:
Selected candidates shall be posted in Assistant General Manager (Scale-V) cadre. They will be fixed in the following pay scale with applicable DA 59170-1650/2-62470-1800/3-67870
The emoluments during the period of probation will be Basic Pay of Rs.59170/- plus applicable DA (At present Rs.31182/-) and other perquisites like reimbursement of house rent, fuel, entertainment, canteen, newspaper etc., as applicable to the Scale-V officers.
In addition, he/she will be eligible for facilities like Gratuity, Leave Encashment and Leave Fare Concession for self and dependent family members, Hospitalization Expenses for self and dependent family members, group insurance etc. as applicable under Bank’s rules.
The above position would be at Thoothukudi or any other place depending upon the needs of the management.
