Tamil Nadu TNUSRB has released a yet another Recruitment notification on a Daily News Paper for the Recruitment of Tamil Nadu Police Sub-Inspector (TNUSRB Police SI) Vacancies.
Applications are invited (via Online Mode) from Men, Women and Transgender candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply for the recruitment before the last date.

Reservation Quota: 20% of the Vacancies are reserved for Tamil Nadu Police Dept Candidates. Anyway, they have to qualify as per Tamil Nadu Taluk SI & Special SI Rules Law-14.
10% of the vacancies reserved for the candidates took part in College Level / State Level Game Events under 15 Sports Categories.
General Candidates who completed their Graduation in Tamil will be given 20% reservation after Personal Interview Process.
Age Limit - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Minimum Age: 20 yrs. & Maximum Age: 28 yrs.
Candidates should have completed 20 Years as on 1st July 2019 and should not be more than 28 years in age.
Are Relaxations provided to some of the category candidates as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualification - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Candidates should possess minimum a second-class diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu (or) A Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication engineering by All India Council for Technical Education.
The candidate must have obtained the Diploma / Degree before the date of notification i.e. 11.07.2018.
a) The Diploma should have been obtained after completion of SSLC or Higher Secondary course and
b) Degree should have been obtained after completion of SSLC and HSC or Diploma.
c) A degree should have been obtained after completion of SSLC and 3 years Diploma.
III. Candidates should have studied Tamil as a subject in X / XII. If not studied, candidates will have to pass the
Tamil-Part II Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within 2 years of joining the service.
Communal Reservation - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Like other exams, TNPSC also has its own communal reservation for the posts released under the commission and for this TNUSRB SI TECHNICAL RECRUITMENT 2018 to the reservations are provided.
a) The following communal reservation will be followed as per existing rules and Government Orders:-
Open Competition – 31%
Backward Class -26.5%
Backward Class (Muslim) – 3.5%
Most Backward Class / Denotified Communities – 20%
Scheduled Caste – 18% [Including 3% for Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar)]
Scheduled Tribe – 1%
b) The candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu only be considered under communal reservation.
c) If the excess number of eligible candidates are available after filling up for SC (Arunthathiyar) they will be selected under Scheduled Caste reservation, if no eligible candidates are available for filling up Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) vacancies, these vacancies will be filled by other Scheduled Caste candidates other than the Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar).
Application Fee - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Examination Fee of Rs. 500/- has to be paid to appear for the Recruitment.
If the Police Departmental candidate applies for both open quota and departmental quota, he /she shall pay a sum of Rs.1000/- as examination fee and shall be paid either through cash challan or online payment.
Examination Fee can be paid Offline (SBI Challan) as well as Online.
Special Quota - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Reservations are allotted to special quotas as follows:-
A. 20% Reservation is provided for Departmental quota candidates.
B. 10% Reservation is provided for Sports quota candidates.
Selection Procedure - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
The Selection Procedure of the TNUSRB SI Recruitment will be conducted in four stages as described below.
1. Written Examination
2. Physical Measurement Test / Endurance Test / Physical Efficiency Test
3. Personal Interview (Viva-Voice)
4. Special Marks

Minimum qualifying mark in Written Examination is 25 for open candidates and 30 for departmental candidates.
However, number of candidates to be called for next stage of PMT, ET, PET and Certificate Verification will be only 5 times of
vacancy. Similarly, the number of candidates to be called for Viva-Voce will be in the ratio of 1:2 of the vacancy.
Physical Measurement Test - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
Only the candidate clearing the Online Computer Based Test or Written Examination will be called for in 1:5 ratio according to the vacancy for next phase of selection i.e. Physical Measurement Test. The Physical Measurement Test comprises of height and chest measurement for men and height measurement for women and Transgender candidates. The minimum eligibility requirement is as follows:-

Note:
20% Departmental Quota candidates are exempted from Physical Measurement
Only the open candidates who qualify in the Physical Measurement Test will be allowed to appear for the original Certificate Similarly, the departmental candidates who are called for in the 1:5 ratio will be allowed for original Certificate Verification.
Viva-Voce - TNUSRB SI Recruitment
The open candidates who qualify in Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test, and original certificate verification will be called for Viva-Voce.
All the departmental candidates who qualify in Written Examination and original certificate verification will be called for Viva-Voce
The Viva-Voce will be conducted at TNUSRB, Chennai. Candidates who are called for Viva-Voce should produce all the Original Certificates at the time of Viva-Voce.
