Educational Qualifications - TNPSC Civil Judge Recruitment
For Fresh Law Graduates – Must be a fresh Law Graduate possessing a degree in Law.
For Practising Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors: Degree in Law
The educational qualification prescribed for the post should have been obtained by acquiring the required and recognised qualification in the order of study, viz., 10th / SSLC + HSC or its equivalent + Bachelor’s Degree as required under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. (Results of the examination should have been declared prior to issuance of this notification)
Age limit - TNPSC Civil Judge Recruitment
For Practising Advocates/ Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors: 25 years to 40 years (35 for SC/ST/BCM/MBC)
For Fresh Law Graduates -22 years to 27 years

Registration Fee – Rs. 150
Examination fee – Rs. 500
NO FEE for SC/ ST Candidates.
Fee is payable online through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card or it can be paid offline within 2 days from the date of submission of online application by choosing the option in the online application.
Scheme of Examinations - TNPSC Civil Judge Recruitment
The selection process comprises three successive stages, viz.,
(i) Preliminary Examination for selection of applicants for admission to the Main Examination,
(ii) Main Examination; and
(iii) Viva–Voce Test.
