Scale of Pay: Level- 20 Rs. 37,700 – 1,19,500
TNPSC Forest Apprentice - Age Limit
Age Limit of 18 to 35 years has been allocated the candidates except for General Category.
For General age limit will be 18 to 30 years. Upper age limit of the ex-servicemen will be decided as 37.
TNPSC Forest Apprentice - Educational Qualification
(a) Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Forestry or its equivalent degree of any Institution or University recognized by UGC
OR (b) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent degree in any one of the following subjects from any Institution or University recognized by UGC.
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications / Computer Science, Engineering (All Engineering subjects including Agricultural Engineering), Environmental Science, Geology, Horticulture, Marine Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Wildlife Biology and Zoology.
KNOWLEDGE OF TAMIL: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.

TNPSC Forest Apprentice - Application Fee
Registration Fee: Rs.150/-
For One Time Registration (Revised with effect from 01.03.2017 vide G.O (Ms).No.32, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M) Department, dated 01.03.2017).
Note: Applicants who have already registered in one-time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted. The reserved candidates are exempted to pay the Registration fee.
Examination Fee: Rs.150/-
Note: The Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment.
TNPSC Forest Apprentice - Selection Procedure
Selection will be made in three successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination
(ii) Physical Test (Walking Test)
(iii) Oral Test.
Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments and subject to qualifying Physical Test.
