UIIC Assistant Selection Process & Exam Pattern

UIIC Assistant Selection Procedure involves three stages which are as follows:

I. Tier I – Preliminary Examination

II. Tier II – Mains Examination

III. Regional Language Test

UIIC Assistant Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted online for 100 marks, with the time duration of One Hour and will consist of 3 sections as follows:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of an adequate number of candidates State-wise and Category-wise equal to 7 times of the respective number of vacancies for Tier-II – Main Examination.

UIIC Assistant Mains Examination

The Main Examination will be an objective test & will also be conducted online for 250 marks with time duration of Two Hours and will consist of 5 sections as follows:

Note: – A) The test will be available in both English as well as in the Hindi language except for the test of English language. B) Candidates have to clear both sectional as well as overall cut off in order to crack the examination. C) Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of an adequate number of candidates State-wise and Category-wise equal to 7 times of the respective number of vacancies for Tier-II – Main Examination.

UIIC Assistant – Regional Language Test

1. The Final Selection of the candidate will be based on the performance subject to qualifying language test. Regional Language Test is qualifying in nature where no marks will be added but one has to qualify in order to get selected as an assistant in UIIC.

2. To clear this test one must have studied the language of the State till standard VIII or any level above standard VIII from the Government recognised Boards of Education/ School or having any certificate to the effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII would be considered proficient in that local language with Valid AADHAR card (or) E-Aadhar Card which should be produced during the Regional Language Test

3. If the candidate does not meet the above requirement at the time of selection, he/she will be given a time period of six months from the date of joining to acquire the proficiency.

UIIC Assistant – Final Selection & Merit List

1) The Test except for English will be available in both English & Hindi for Prelims as well as in Mains.

2) Candidates have to qualify separately in each subject as per the marks decided by the organisation.

3) Candidates those who qualify the online mains examination will further have to undergo a regional language test.

4) The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying in nature, no marks will be added.

5) The Final Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of Online Mains Examination & Qualify the regional language test.

6) Also, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer applicable to both prelims & mains.
