Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites Online Applications for the Combined Defence Service CDS II Recruitment Examination 2019 from the aspirants who are willing to join Indian Army, Navy & Air Force as an Officer.
Candidates who are Interested and fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria are advised to apply for the Recruitment on or before 8th July 2019.

Indian Military Academy: Candidates Have bachelor’s degree in any Stream from any Recognized University in India.
Indian Naval Academy: Candidates Have bachelor’s degree in engineering from any Recognized University / Institute.
Air Force Academy: Candidates Have bachelor’s degree in any Stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level OR Bachelor of Engineering.
Officers Training Academy Non-Technical: Candidates Have bachelor’s degree and its Equivalents in any Stream from any Recognized University in India.
The Selection Process of UPSC CDS II Recruitment comprises of 4 stages namely Written Exam, Interview/ Personality Test (SSB), Medical Test and Final Selection/ Merit.
The candidates will be placed in the order of merit on the basis of the total marks secured by them in the written examination and in the SSB tests. The final selection will be made in order of merit subject to medical fitness and suitability in all other respects and number of vacancies available.
The Competitive examination comprises:
(a) Written examination
(b) Interview with intelligence and personality test of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres
The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy:
English – Duration: 2 Hours & Maximum Marks 100
General – Duration: Knowledge 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100
Elementary – Duration: Mathematics 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100
(b) For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy:
English – Duration: 2 Hours & Maximum Marks 100
General Knowledge – Duration: Knowledge 2 Hours; & Maximum Marks 100
Maximum marks allotted to the written exam and to the interviews will be equal for each course i.e. the maximum marks allotted to the written exam and to the interviews will be 300, 300, 300 and 200 each for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy respectively
The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English
In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set
