Staff Selection Commission has released the Result & Marks of SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination on the commission’s official website. The commission has conducted the SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination between June 22 to 25, 2020.
All those who have cleared the SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination will now become eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 3 Descriptive Examination which is to be held on 25th June 2020.
Candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination can download and check the SSC CGL result from the link given below. We all know that SSC CGL is one of the prestigious competitive exams conducted by SSC to fill Central Govt vacancies.
How to check SSC CGL Tier II Exam Result?
Candidates can download the official result PDF here. The link to download the SSC CGL Result Tier 2 is available in the table below. Links in the table given below.
1. Click on the official link containing PDFs with List 1, 2 and 3.
2. Click on the link as per the post you are eligible for.
3. After loading the PDF completely, find your name/roll number by pressing “Ctrl + F” in the PDF.
4. If you find your name & roll number on the pdf, you can take it as a good sign, and you are got selected for the next stage.
How to Resolve Tie-Break in SSC CGL Tier 2 Scores?
In case of a tie in the combined aggregate score (in Tier I, II, and III exams) of two or more candidates, the following criteria are adopted to create the merit list till the tie is resolved:
Total marks of a candidate in the tier-II exam
Total marks of a candidate in tier-III exam
Total marks of a candidate in Tier-I exam
Date of birth with an older candidate placed higher
Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Cut-off Details
The marks obtained by the candidates in Tier – I and Tier – II together are considered for deciding the eligibility of the candidates to appear in Tier – III.
Candidates scoring more than the commission’s fixed cut – off are directly becoming qualified for SSC CGL Tier – III Examination.

After SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Result
After the SSC CGL Tier-II result is declared, candidates will appear for the SSC CGL Tier III exam i.e. descriptive paper. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to write the descriptive paper in pen and paper mode. The exam pattern for SSC CGL Tier III exam is given in the table below:
