- பயனாளிகளைத் தொடர்பு கொண்டு நலத்திட்டங்கள் குறித்த கருத்துக்களைக் கேட்டறியும் புதுமையான திட்டம் சென்னையில் தொடங்கப்படவுள்ளது.
- இந்த திட்டத்தின் மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர், மாண்புமிகு அமைச்சர் பெருமக்கள், தலைமைச் செயலாளர், அனைத்துத் துறைச் செயலாளர்கள், துறைத் தலைவர்கள், மாவட்ட ஆட்சித்தலைவர்கள் ஆகியோர் அரசுத் திட்டங்களின் பயன்கள் குறித்து பொதுமக்களைத் தொலைபேசியில் நேரடியாகத் தொடர்பு கொண்டு கேட்டு அறிவார்கள்.
Pudhumai Penn Scheme has increased number of girl students in higher education by 34%, says CM
- The Pudhumai Penn scheme which provides Rs 1,000 per month to girl students studying from 6th to plus 2 in schools and pursuing higher studies was launched in September 2022.
- In the current year, 2.73 lakh girl students are benefited every month under this scheme. As a result of this initiative, the number of girls studying in government schools and joining colleges has increased by 34 percent in the current academic year.
புதுமைப் பெண் திட்டத்தால் உயர்கல்வியில் சேரும் மாணவிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 34% அதிகரிப்பு என முதலமைச்சர் தகவல்
- பள்ளிகளில் 6 முதல் பிளஸ் 2 வரை பயின்று, உயர்கல்வி செல்லும் மாணவிகளுக்கு மாதந்தோறும் ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் வழங்கும் புதுமைப் பெண் திட்டம் 2022- ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பரில் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
- இந்தத் திட்டத்தால் நடப்பாண்டில் மட்டும் மாதந்தோறும் 2.73 லட்சம் மாணவிகள் பயன் பெற்று வருகின்றனர். இந்த முயற்சியால் நடப்பு கல்வி யாண்டில் அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் பயின்று, கல்லூரிகளில் சேரும் மாணவிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 34 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

India's first underwater metro rail to be launched in Kolkata
- PM Modi will inaugurate India’s first underwater metro rail project in Kolkata on 06-03-2024.
- The Howrah Flyover-Esplanade section is a part of Kolkata’s East-West Metro Corridor.
- The 520-metre-deep line under the Hooghly river will cover a distance of 520 metres and the train will pass through it in 45 seconds.
இந்தியாவின் முதல் நீருக்கடியில் மெட்ரோ ரயில் கொல்கத்தாவில் தொடங்கப்படவுள்ளது
- கொல்கத்தாவில் இந்தியாவின் முதல் நீருக்கடியில் மெட்ரோ ரயில் திட்டத்தை பிரதமர் மோடி 06-03-2024 தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார்.
- கொல்கத்தாவின் கிழக்கு – மேற்கு மெட்ரோ வழித்தடத்தின் ஒருபகுதியாக ஹவுரா மேம்பாலம் – எஸ்பிளனேட் பகுதிகளுக்கு இடையே மெட்ரோ ரயில் பாதை தயாராகி வருகிறது.
- ஹூக்ளி ஆற்றுக்கு அடியில் 16 மீட்டர் ஆழத்தில், 520 மீட்டர் தூரத்துக்கு அமைக்கப்பட்டு வரும் இந்த வழித்தடத்தில் 45 விநாடிகளில் ரயில் கடந்து செல்லும்.
India reopens export of onion, rice
- The government had banned the export of non-basmati rice from July 20 last year to meet the domestic demand.
- The government has allowed the export of non-basmati rice to Tanzania, Djibouti and Guinea Bissau.
- Similarly, export of onions to UAE and Bangladesh has also been permitted.

- உள்நாட்டு தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்யும் வகையில் பாஸ்மதி அல்லாத அரிசியை ஏற்றுமதி செய்வதற்கு கடந்த ஆண்டு ஜூலை 20ம் தேதி முதல் அரசு தடை விதித்தது.
- இந்நிலையில் தான்சானியா, டிஜிபவுட்டி மற்றும் கினியா பிசாவ் நாடுகளுக்கு பாஸ்மதி அல்லாத அரிசியை ஏற்றுமதி செய்வதற்கு அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது.
- இதேபோல் ஐக்கிய அரபு எமிரேட்ஸ் மற்றும் வங்கதேசத்துக்கு வெங்காயகம் ஏற்றுமதிக்கும் அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

France has successfully passed a bill to allow women to abort their abortion.
- Abortion has been legal for women in France since 1974.
- President Emmanuel Macron vowed to make abortion a fundamental right of women. Accordingly, a bill on the right to abortion was introduced in the French Parliament.
- Thus the bill was successfully passed. The bill will become law after the president signs it. France has become the first country in the constitution to grant abortion rights.
பிரான்ஸ் நாட்டில் பெண்களின் கருக்கலைப்பு மசோதா வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
- ஐரோப்பிய நாடான பிரான்சில் பெண்கள் கருக்கலைப்பு செய்ய 1974-ம் ஆண்டு முதல் சட்டப்பூர்வ அனுமதி உள்ளது.
- கருக்கலைப்பு என்பது பெண்களின் அடிப்படை உரிமையாக மாற்றப்படும் என அதிபர் இம்மானுவேல் மேக்ரான் உறுதி அளித்தார். அதன்படி பிரான்ஸ் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் கருக்கலைப்பு உரிமை குறித்த மசோதா தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
- இதனால் மசோதா வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவேறியது. அதிபர் கையெழுத்திட்ட பிறகு இந்த மசோதா சட்டமாக மாறும். இதன் மூலம் அரசியல் அமைப்பில் கருக்கலைப்பு உரிமையை வழங்கிய முதல் நாடாக பிரான்ஸ் மாறி உள்ளது.

March 5 – The historical Gandhi Irwin Pact was signed on this Day on 1931.
- The Gandhi Irwin Pact was an agreement signed between Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Irwin in 1931.
- This pact aimed to resolve the civil disobedience movement and ease political tensions in India.
- By this Pact, the Indian National Congress agreed to suspend the civil disobedience movement.
- It also allowed Indians to take part in the Round Table Conferences. The Gandhi Irwin Pact played a big role in India’s fight for freedom.
