Tamil Nadu government orders 3.5% reservation for converts to Islam
- Government of Tamil Nadu has issued an order to give reservation to various sections of people who have converted to Islam.
- Through this, the government said that if the backward, very backward, minority or lower class people convert to Islam, they will be treated as backward Muslims and given 3.5 percent reservation, caste certificate.
- Appropriate guidelines in this regard should be issued by the Commissioner of Revenue Administration to all District Collectors and officials issuing caste certificates, the order said.
இஸ்லாமிய மதத்துக்கு மாறியோருக்கு 3.5% இடஒதுக்கீடு என தமிழக அரசு உத்தரவு
- இஸ்லாமிய மதத்துக்கு மாறிய பல்வேறு பிரிவினரு இடஒதுக்கீடு அளிக்கும் வகையிலான உத்தரவை தமிழக அரசு உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளது.
- இதன்முலம், பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட, மிகவும் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட, சிறுபான்மையினர் அல்லது தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட வகுப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் இஸ்லாமிய மதத்தைத் தழுவினால், அவர்கள் பிற்படுத்தப்பட்ட இஸ்லாமியராக கருதப்பட்டு, அவர்களுக்கு5 சதவீதம் இடஒதுக்கீடு அளிக்கும் வகையில், ஜாதி சான்றிதழை அளிக்கலாம் என அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- இது குறித்த உரிய வழிகாட்டுதல்களை வருவாய் நிர்வாக ஆணையர் தரப்பில் இருந்து அனைத்து மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்கள், ஜாதி சான்றிதழ்களை அளிக்கும் அதிகாரிகளுக்கு வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று உத்தரவில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

PM Modi launches Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh
- In a major boost to women empowerment in Chhattisgarh, The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched the Mahatari Vandana Yojana and disbursed the first instalment under The Scheme.
- The scheme has been launched in Chhattisgarh to provide financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month to eligible married women of the state as monthly DBT.
சத்தீஸ்கரில் மகதாரி வந்தன் திட்டத்தை பிரதமர் மோடி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்
- சத்தீஸ்கரில் பெண்களுக்கு அதிகாரமளித்தலுக்கு பெரும் ஊக்கமளிக்கும் வகையில், பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று மகதாரி வந்தனா திட்டத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்து, திட்டத்தின் கீழ் முதல் தவணை தொகையை வழங்கினார்.
- சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலத்தில் திருமணமான பெண் பயனாளிகளுக்கு மாதந்தோறும் ரூ .1000 நிதி உதவி வழங்கும் திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- மகளிருக்கு பொருளாதார மேம்பாடு அளித்தல், நிதிப் பாதுகாப்பு அளித்தல், பாலின சமத்துவத்தை மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் குடும்பத்தில் பெண்களின் பங்கினை வலுப்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவை இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கமாகும்.
Free Trade Agreement: Signed between India-EFTA
- The Free Trade Agreement between India and the 4 European Free Trade Association (EFTA) was signed on Sunday.
- 10 lakh jobs will be created in the next 15 years through an investment of $10,000 crore (about Rs.8.27 lakh crore) in India through this agreement.
- The European Free Trade Association was formed in 1960 as an organization for non-EU countries.
- Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland are members of this organization which aims to promote free trade.
தடையற்ற வர்த்தக ஒப்பந்தம்: இந்தியா- இஎஃப்டிஏ இடையே கையொப்பம்
- இந்தியா மற்றும் 4 ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளின் தடையற்ற வர்த்தக கூட்டமைப்பு (இஎஃப்டிஏ) இடையே தடையற்ற வர்த்தக ஒப்பந்தம் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை கையொப்பமானது.
- இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் மூலம் இந்தியாவில் மேற்கொள்ளப்படவுள்ள 10,000 கோடி டாலர் (சுமார் ரூ.8.27 லட்சம் கோடி) முதலீடு வாயிலாக அடுத்த 15 ஆண்டுகளில் 10 லட்சம் வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் உருவாக்கப்படும்.
- ஐரோப்பிய யூனியனில் இணையாத நாடுகளுக்கானஅமைப்பாக ஐரோப்பிய தடையற்ற வர்த்தக கூட்டமைப்பு கடந்த 1960-இல் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
- தடையற்ற வர்த்தகத்தை ஊக்குவிப்பதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்ட இந்த அமைப்பில் ஐஸ்லாந்து, லீக்டென்ஸ்டைன், நார்வே, ஸ்விட்சர்லாந்து ஆகிய நாடுகள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
Arun Goel has resigned from the Post of Election Commissioner
- Originally the commission had only a Chief Election Commissioner. It currently consists of Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners.
- For the first time two additional Commissioners were appointed on 16th October 1989 but they had a very short tenure till 1st January 1990.
- Later, on 1st October 1993 two additional Election Commissioners were appointed. The concept of multi-member Commission has been in operation since then, with decision making power by majority vote.

Samudrayan project to be operational by end of next year: Govt
- The Samudrayan project was launched in 2021 to send humans to depths of 6,000 meters to explore deep-sea resources, such as minerals that have not yet been discovered in the deep sea.
- Matsya 6000 Research Vehicle with a seating capacity of 3 persons has been developed for this purpose.
- Earth Sciences Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Samudrayan project will be operational by the end of next year (2025).
சமுத்ராயன் திட்டம் அடுத்த ஆண்டு இறுதிக்குள் செயல்பாட்டுக்கு வரும் என அரசு தகவல்
- ஆழ்கடலில் இதுவரை கண்டறியப்படாத கனிமங்கள் போன்ற ஆழ்கடல் வளங்களை ஆய்வு செய்வதற்கு மனிதர்களை கடலில் 6,000 மீட்டர் ஆழத்துக்கு அனுப்பும் சமுத்ராயன் திட்டம் கடந்த 2021-ம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
- இதற்காக 3 பேர் அமர்ந்து செல்லும் வகையில் ‘மத்ஸ்யா 6000’ என்ற ஆய்வு வாகனம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்த நிலையில் சமுத்ராயன் திட்டம் அடுத்த ஆண்டு (2025) இறுதிக்குள் செயல்பாட்டுக்கு வரும் என புவி அறிவியல் துறை மந்திரி கிரண் ரிஜிஜூ தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
A demonstration of agricultural drones by members of the country's women self-help groups trained through the 'NAMO Drone Didis’ program will be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
- The Prime Minister had said that the Union Government will train thousands of women from Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the country to operate drones to inculcate modern technology in the agriculture sector with improved efficiency and higher yield to reduce costs.
- The ‘NaMo Drone Didis’ project was also launched by the central government at a cost of Rs 1,261 crore.
- Under this scheme, 15,000 drones will be provided to selected SHGs in the next 3 years.
‘நமோ ட்ரோன் சகோதரிகள்' திட்டம் மூலம் பயிற்சி பெற்ற நாட்டின் மகளிர் சுய உதவிக் குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் நடத்தும் வேளாண் ஆளில்லா விமானங்களின் செயல் விளக்கம் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி முன்னிலையில் திங்கள்கிழமை நடைபெறுகிறது.
- வேளாண் துறையில் மேம்பட்ட செயல்திறன் மற்றும் அதிக மகசூலுடன் செலவைக் குறைக்க, நவீன தொழில்நுட்பத்தை ஊக் குவிக்கும் நோக்கில் நாட்டின் சுய உதவிக் குழுக்களை சேர்ந்த ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பெண்களுக்கு ஆளில்லா விமானங்களை இயக் கும் பயிற்சியை மத்திய அரசு வழங்கும்’ என்று பிரதமர் கூறியிருந்தார்.
- இதற்காக ரூ.1,261 கோடி செலவில் ‘நமோ ட்ரோன் சகோதரிகள்’ திட்டமும் மத்திய அரசால் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
- இத்திட்டத்தில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட சுய உதவிக் குழுக்களுக்கு வரும் 3 ஆண்டுகளில் 15,000 ஆளில்லா விமானங்கள் வழங்கப்படும்.
