Ram Nath Govind Committee to submit report on 'One Nation, One Election' to President

The report of former President Ram Nath Kovind Committee on ‘One Nation, One Election’ will be presented to President Murmu.
The Union government constituted a committee under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind to study and submit a report on the conduct of simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha, Legislative Assemblies and local bodies across the country.

Ministry of Heavy Industries announces Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024

Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 (EMPS 2024) scheme is being introduced by Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India with the approval of Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance to further accelerate the adoption of EVs in the country.
This is a fund limited scheme with a total outlay of Rs. 500 crore for the period of 4 months, w.e.f. 1st April 2024 till 31st July 2024, for faster adoption of electric two-wheeler (e-2W) and three-wheeler (e-3W) to provide further impetus to the green mobility and development of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing eco-system in the country.

நாட்டில் மின்சார வாகனங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதை மேலும் துரிதப்படுத்துவதற்காக இந்திய அரசின் கனரக தொழில்துறை அமைச்சகம், நிதி அமைச்சகத்தின் செலவினத் துறையின் ஒப்புதலுடன் மின்சார மொபிலிட்டி ஊக்குவிப்பு திட்டம் 2024 (EMPS 2024) திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்துகிறது.
இது 2024 ஏப்ரல் 1 முதல் 2024 ஜூலை 31 வரையிலான 4 மாத காலத்திற்கு மொத்தம் ரூ.500 கோடி ஒதுக்கீட்டுடன் நிதி வரையறுக்கப்பட்ட திட்டமாகும்.
மின்சார இரு சக்கர வாகனம் (e-2W) மற்றும் மூன்று சக்கர வாகனங்களை (e-3W) விரைவாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதற்காக, நாட்டில் பசுமை இயக்கம் மற்றும் மின்சார வாகன (EV) உற்பத்தி சூழல் அமைப்பின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு மேலும் உத்வேகம் அளிக்கும்.

PM Modi Launches SURAJ Portal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan Evam Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan’ (PM-SURAJ) national portal on Wednesday and sanctioned credit assistance for one lakh entrepreneurs from disadvantaged communities.
It is a transformative initiative, aimed at uplifting the most marginalized segments of society.
The program witnessed the participation of about three lakh beneficiaries of various government schemes from disadvantaged groups who joined the program from over 470 districts across the country.

பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி புதன்கிழமை ‘பிரதமரின் சமூக மேம்பாடு மற்றும் வேலைவாய்ப்பு அடிப்படையிலான மக்கள் நலன்’ (சுராஜ்) இணைய தளத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்து, பின்தங்கிய சமூகங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு லட்சம் தொழில்முனைவோருக்கு கடன் உதவி வழங்க ஒப்புதல் அளித்தார்.

Haryana CM Saini Govt Wins Floor Test in Legislative Assembly

According to Article 175(2), the Governor can summon the House and call for a floor test to prove whether the government has the numbers.
The Governor can exercise the Floor test only as per Article 163 of the Constitution which says that the Governor acts on the aid and advice of the Council of Ministers headed by the Chief Minister.
When the House is in session, it is the Speaker who can call for a floor test. But when the Assembly is not in session, the Governor’s residuary powers under Article 163 allow him to call for a floor test.

NITI Aayog Launches ‘Vocal for Local' Initiative Fostering Grassroots Entrepreneurship and Self- reliance

In a move towards bolstering local economies and fostering grassroots entrepreneurship, NITI Aayog launched the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative under its Aspirational Blocks Programme on 13th March, 2024 in the presence of Shri BVR Subrahmanyam, CEO, NITI Aayog and other dignitaries from various states and blocks.
This initiative aims to encourage a spirit of self-reliance among the populace of Aspirational Blocks, propelling them towards sustainable growth and prosperity.
As a part of this initiative, indigenous local products from 500 Aspirational Blocks have been mapped and consolidated under Aakanksha. The launch was attended by all 329 Districts and Block Level Officials under Aspirational Blocks Programme who connected virtually for the event.

The company calls it ‘Devin’.
It can be used to write coding.

'Agray' and 'Akshay', the 5th and 6th ships of 08 x ASW Shallow Water Craft (SWC) Project being built by M/S Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd for Indian Navy, were launched on 13 Mar 24.

The Launch Ceremony was presided over by Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari, Chief of the Air staff.
The ships have been rechristened as Agray and Akshay, named after erstwhile Abhay Class Corvettes Agray and Akshay of Indian Navy.
In the last one year, 03 indigenously built warships/ submarine for Indian Navy have been delivered and a total of 09 warships were launched. The launch of two more ships of the project highlights the nation’s resolve towards ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ in shipbuilding.

இந்த கப்பல்களுக்கு அக்ரே மற்றும் அக்ஷய் என பெயர் சூட்டப்பட்டு, இந்திய கடற்படையின் முன்னாள் அபய் கிளாஸ் கார்வெட்ஸ் அக்ரே மற்றும் அக் ஷய் ஆகியோரின் பெயர்கள் சூட்டப்பட்டுள்ளன.
கடந்த ஓராண்டில், இந்திய கடற்படைக்காக உள்நாட்டிலேயே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட 03 போர்க்கப்பல்கள்/நீர்மூழ்கிக் கப்பல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த திட்டத்தின் மேலும் இரண்டு கப்பல்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்துவது கப்பல் கட்டுவதில் ‘தற்சார்பு‘ நோக்கிய தேசத்தின் தீர்மானத்தை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.
