SSC CGL Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification
Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer:
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institute.
- Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Master in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
- During the period of probation, direct recruits shall have to qualify the ‘Subordinate Audit/Accounts Service Examination’ in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
Junior Statistical Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute with at least 60 percent marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level (or) Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
All other Posts:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- The candidates who have appeared in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however, they must possess essential qualification on or before the cut-off date, i.e. 08-10-2022.
SSC CGL Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
- Fee payable for General & OBC Candidates: ₹ 100 (One hundred rupees only).
- No fee for women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
- Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 09 October 2022 (23:00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make cash payment through the challan of State Bank of India (SBI), may make payment in cash at the branches of SBI within the working hours of SBI up to 10 October 2022, provided the challan has been generated by them before 8 October 2022 (23:00 hours).
SSC CGL Recruitment 2023: How to Apply Online?
To apply for SSC CGL online, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in/.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply” tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the “CGL” tab and select the “Online Application” link.
Step 4: Read the instructions and guidelines carefully before proceeding with the application process.
Step 5: Click on the “New Registration” button and provide your basic details such as name, email ID, phone number, and date of birth to register yourself.
Step 6: Once registered, log in using your credentials.
Step 7: Fill in all the required details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and work experience.
Step 8: Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as per the prescribed format and dimensions and pay the application fee
Step 9: Review all the details and submit
Step 10: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
SSC CGL Recruitment 2023: Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be made based on Computer-Based Examination. This Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers.
- SSC CGL Tier – I Exam (Qualifying)
- SSC CGL Tier – II Exam
Marks scored by candidates in the Computer-Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized using the formula published by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07 February 2019 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
