The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the Recruitment of IBPS Specialist Officer (IBPS SO) 2022.
Specialist Officer (SO) works in collaboration with other banking officials to assist them in areas like Information Technology (IT), Marketing, Human Resource etc.
IBPS SO is released for the 710 Specialist Officers’ posts in various streams such as (Scale-I) I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer.
According to the IBPS SO Notification, all the interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply between 1st November 2022 to 21st November 2022.

Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Rs. 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others
Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.
The Selection of the candidates will be made based on a Common Recruitment Process which consists of Online Preliminary and Online Main Examination, Common Interview and Provisional Allotment.
Candidates who qualify in Online Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for appearing in the Mains Examination. The shortlisted candidates in the Online Main Examination will be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the participating organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank.

Yes, there is a negative marking for wrong answers in both the preliminary and Main. One–fourth of the total mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The prescribed age limit under IBPS SO 2022 is 20 years to 30 years.
The IBPS SO Exam 2022 for the prelims phase is going to be conducted on the 24th and 31st of December 2022.
