IBPS SO Recruitment Notification

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the Recruitment of IBPS Specialist Officer (IBPS SO) 2019.

Specialist Officer (SO) works in collaboration with other banking officials to assist them in areas like Information Technology (IT), Marketing, Human Resource etc.

IBPS SO is released for the 1163 Specialist Officers’ posts in various streams such as (Scale-I) I.T. Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer.

According to the IBPS SO Notification, all the interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply for IBPS CRP SPL-IX 2019 between November 6 and 26, 2019.

IBPS SO Admit Card Preliminary: December 2019

IBPS SO Preliminary Exam Date: 28.12.2019 and 29.12.2019

Age Limit – IBPS SO Recruitment

Minimum Age: 20 years & Maximum Age: 30 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1989 and not later than 01.11.1999 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification – IBPS SO Recruitment

I.T. Officer (Scale-I):

a) 4-year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation (OR)

b) Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications (OR)

Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level

Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I):

4-Year Degree (Graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry/Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agriculture Business Management/ Food Technology/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture

Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I):

Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level (OR)

Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.

Law Officer (Scale I):

A bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council

HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I):

Graduate and Two Years Full Time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full Time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.

Marketing Officer (Scale I):

Graduate and Two Years Full time MMS (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time MBA (Marketing)/ Two Years Full time PGDBA / PGDBM/ PGPM/ PGDM with specialization in Marketing.

For posts other than IT Officer Scale I: Candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

Application Fee – IBPS SO Recruitment

Rs. 100/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

Rs. 600 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

Selection Procedure – IBPS SO Recruitment

The Selection of the candidates will be made based on a Common Recruitment Process which consists of Online Preliminary and Online Main Examination, Common Interview and Provisional Allotment.

Candidates who qualify in Online Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for appearing in the Mains Examination. The shortlisted candidates in the Online Main Examination will be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the participating organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank.
