Opportunities Galore! Yes , Railway Recruitment Board has released the notification for the post of Group D. When aspirants were getting ready to prepare for the Banking Exam, this notification comes as a surprise to everyone. The total number of vacancies available for the recruitment of Group D amounts to 62907 vacancies .
Railway Recruitment Boards invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of various posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix for the vacancies in various units of Indian Railways.

Computer Based Test (CBT): Will be announced
Candidate passed 10th Class OR ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution are eligible to apply for the recruitment.
Unreserved / Gen – 30 years, OBC – 36 years, SC/ST candidates – 38 years
Computer Based Test:
All the eligible candidates have to undergo a Computer Based Test on the specified date, time and venue as per the e-call letter to be downloaded by the candidates from the websites of RRBs. The information about the call letter download shall be communicated through the websites as well as personal email communication to the candidates.
The Railway Recruitment Group D Examination will be conducted in 15 languages and candidates can sign their names in any language than just Hindi or English.

PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET):
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET Two times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature.

Fee Refund:
General category candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹500, however, ₹400 will be refunded if they appear for the exam. Reserved category candidates need to pay ₹250 as examination fee, and it will be refunded in full if they appear for the test. Candidates must submit their bank details to avail the refund facility.
