Officers in Grade B receive a good salary as well as several benefits. The following list includes information about various NABARD Grade B allowances:
Medical Allowance:
The dependents of NABARD employees are eligible for several types of benefits.
Leave Fare Concession Travel:
Employees at NABARD are also eligible for LFC allowance. Employees and their dependents are eligible to receive this benefit once every two years.
House Rent Allowance:
Due to a lack of available homes, HRA is provided to NABARD officers who cannot obtain housing through NABARD. Almost all cities have accommodation options. But, housing is subject to availability.
Family Allowance:
The benefit is offered to employees in Group B, at a rate of 4% of their salaries, up to a maximum of Rs.700 a month.
Personal Allowance:
Officers who were employed by the National Bank as of January 2, 1996, are eligible to receive a Personal Allowance worth Rs. 550 per month once one year has passed since they reached the maximum scale of salary.
Pension:
Employees in Grade B are also eligible for the New Pension Scheme and the advantages of Gratuity and the Optional Group Term Insurance Plan.
Perks and Additional Benefits:
All benefits approved by the 7th Pay Commission are available to NABARD Grade B Managers. They will receive additional compensation beyond the base income, such as:
