Candidates, intending to apply for the Specialist Officer Recruitment conducted by any PSU Banks including SBI & banks participating in IBPS Recruitment. Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the Recruitment.

Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for the post. Candidates must necessarily produce the relevant documents pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications etc. in original along with a photocopy thereof in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the online application form.

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be a citizen of India in order to apply for the Specialist Officer Recruitment conducted by State Bank of India.

Age Limit & Relaxation​

Candidates wishing to apply for the SBI SO Recruitment must be aged at least 21 years. And, the upper age limit varies based on the Post & Grades. It goes all the way between 35 Years to 60 Years. 

Candidates should note that, apart from the upper age limit; the candidates should also be eligible in terms of Educational, Technical Qualifications and Experience in order to apply for the Recruitment.

Law Officer:

As on the Notification Date, the candidate should hold a Degree in Law (3 years/ 5 years) from a recognised University in India. 

Post Qualification Experience:

Enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and having 4 years of experience as practicing Advocate; OR Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks; OR 4 years combined experience as practicing advocate and Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks.

The experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council.

Educational Qualification of other Posts & Grades will be available when the Recruitment Notification published Officially.
